I don’t mind spending a little money for the fun but at a certain point where you know they’ve made it impossible to win a level unless you spend money…I become frustrated and simply refuse to give them money and they may frustrate a player to the point of giving up…how much sense or cents does that get them? I already can see in the team I’m in that players stop advancing around the 2000 level and can see some are not playing even. Some players can’t afford or are too young to be spending money on just a game that gives you nothing more than some entertainment fun. Why don’t the developers realize that a little cash from many players is better than getting greedy and have players drop out. Great game but around level 2000 it’s set up so that you have to spend money to advance. Hard mode comes with stronger opponents and less aid, which makes the overall game harder to finish.Fun but game gets greedy for money around level 2000 You can play the game in hard mode once you have beaten it on the easy difficulty level. Still, it is fun to manage your units and see them become stronger in the process. The game is not overly difficult and since you can retry tournaments over and over again, you will eventually beat the game since you get stronger with every passing day. Time management is critical as there is always more to do than you have days at your disposal before the next match in the tournament. The King's League Odyssey is a strategic game in which you manage and prepare your party to advance in the kingdom's leagues. Do not worry about that and just continue training and upgrading your units. You may participate in leagues that you can't really win the first time. Losing is not that much of a problem, as you can try again. You sometimes get to recruit rate, unique or uncommon units which already have a couple of levels so that you should spend upgrades on units that you know that you will keep no matter what. As far as upgrades go, it is usually always better to upgrade individual units first as it makes them really powerful. The quest battles are not as difficult as the league battles so do not worry about the difficulty level displayed here and just fight them all.Make sure that all your units train between battles, and take on as many quests as you can to get additional gold and sometimes crystals. Your first priority should be to conquer the places that you can to increase your monthly gold and crystal income. You should increase your party to five as soon as possible as it makes the beginning battles and leagues a lot easier.Advancing the class offers additional benefits that make it more powerful. It provides a stat boost most of the time, and every five levels an opportunity to advance the class. Single unit upgrades on the other hand advance the unit only. All units of a type benefit from the first type of upgrade which may increase the hitpoints, decrease the casting time of spells or reduce damage taken from particular attacks. You can upgrade general unit traits or a specific unit in your party. You lean back and watch how your units fight it out against the enemy party. If you win, you earn lootĬrystals on the other hand are exclusively used for upgrades. Quests play out just like any other type of battle in the game. You use money to recruit new units, upgrade your facilities and accept quests. These currencies are used for a number of things. What this means is that you will have to prioritize what you are doing as you can't do everything in the time at hand.īesides training and recruiting, you can also send your party on quests which earn you money, crystals and repuation. Each action that you select requires time to complete and you have only a limited amount of days before the next league match. You may have noticed already that time plays an important role in the game. Recruitment works by selecting a region you want to search for recruits - with the better regions locked by default - and selecting one, multiple or none of the recruits when you receive the recruitment report a couple of days later. You can also recruit new party members up to a total of five that fight for you in league battles. Training points are not available in abundance though so that you need to make decisions here how to train each unit. First, you can train any unit to increase its stats over time.
